The role of Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj
was important in the task of saving and
nurturing the Hindu Empire during the period
of history. It is unmistakable that this
institution started in the name of Shri
Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is portraying
its own
role in imparting valuable education to the
students.
The Maratha Vidya Prasaraka Mandali was
started in 1893 as a feather to Dharwad,
known as the cultural capital of
Vidyanagari/Vidyakashi. This institution has
completed 130 years of celebration.
Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Arts &
Commerce Degree College established in
2013.
The original purpose of this institution was
to provide education to poor students. Since
then till date it has been successfully
serving in imparting education from
pre-primary level to graduation level.
Make students aware of science in
Jnanadegula. In the path of life, knowledge
is science,
science is wisdom. It is Sriyuthara's
Kayaka which is prepared with good
knowledge. It is a matter of pride that many
students have succeeded in attaining their
life goals in the temple of knowledge.
Pursuing graduate level education at Vidyakashi
Dharwad is very expensive, but our
institution offers high quality education at
lower fees than other institutes. Besides
giving high priority to cultural and sports
activities. The Maratha Vidyaprasaraka
Mandal is providing all the necessary support
facilities for this. In 2013 Shri
Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaja Arts & Commerce
Degree College was inaugurated by Shri
M. N. Morey is credited with initiating the
presidency.

Dear Students and Parents,
Since the year 2013, I have been blessed to
be serving at Sri Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj
College of Arts and Commerce, Dharwad.
The college is situated in the heart of
Dharwad city. This institution offers B.A.
and B.Com courses.
